From the report, “The Quality of Life Panel is united in our commitment to improving the Quality of Life for our service members and their families. Through bipartisan collaboration, we strive to create a future where military families thrive in support of our national security. Fundamental to improving and sustaining an All-Volunteer Force, it is imperative we commit the right amount of resources to address quality of life concerns for service members and their families. To that end, this Panel is focused on ensuring appropriate pay and compensation; access to affordable child care; adequate and safe housing; access to quality medical care; and support programs for military spouses.”
